SOCIETY (19 June) - The so-called “Naked Lady” moved to a town in Oregon, attracted by local law, which does not forbid near-nudity in most public places. UPDATE (5 July) - In the end, Jennifer Moss was not allowed in the parade. But she did walk through the crowd wearing a hemp g-string (and nothing else!), as she had planned to do. She now intends to contact the American Civil Liberties Union to complain that she wasn't allowed in the parade.
SPORTS (29 June) - With a 1-0 win over Germany, Spain's national football team won the 2008 UEFA Championship, for the first time since 1964. A goal by Torres in the first half sufficed to give the Iberians the result that they deserved, not only on Sunday night, but throughout the tournament.
